MOSCOT
MOSCOT has been in the eyewear business on New York's Lower East Side since Hyman Moscot started selling from a pushcart on Orchard Street in 1915. It is still run by the family, five generations in, out of the shop at 94 Orchard.
The LEMTOSH is the frame most people arrive looking for: Italian acetate, keyhole bridge, diamond rivets and a seven-barrel hinge, in a range of sizes from 44mm up. The MILTZEN, DAHVEN, NEBB and ZOLMAN round out the core. These are frames designed to look worn-in rather than new, which is why they age well.
