Barefoot Dreams has been making blankets and loungewear out of Malibu since Annette Cook founded the company in 1994. The CozyChic throw is the piece it is known for, and the one people tend to buy a second of once they have lived with the first.

CozyChic is a 100% polyester microfiber knit brushed on both faces. It is machine washable, it holds its loft and softness through repeated washing, and it does not pill the way brushed natural fibers do. Worth knowing before you buy: this is engineered softness rather than cashmere or wool, and it behaves differently from either.
